The Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) is used to ensure the conformity of technical requirements, quality standards, inspection and testing plan, and vendor documentation as per project requirements.
Technical Bid Evaluation or TBE is the organized method of evaluation / examination process of the vendor’s technical bid proposals from the technical requirement point of view.

1) For all items, a Material Requisition (MR) document is prepared then sent to procurement department for onward submission to various applicable vendor stating the reequipments specific to item based on project scope of work.
2) The respective vendors shall provide their technical & commercial proposal offers / bid.
3) All these proposals / offers need to be reviewed before selecting the final vendor. So, Technical Bid Evaluation(TBE) or Vendor Offer Review is an important step before final order placement or procurement.
4) This technical evaluation shall be carried out by engineering discipline based on the project scope and provide the evaluation result based on detail compliance / analysis of received vendor offers / bids.
5) The Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) will provide recommendation on vendor offers – whether offers are technically acceptable or not etc.
