Some of the Best Chinese Food throughout North America are served in food courts in shopping centre mall. I found some delicious Chinese food in the Crystal Mall in Burnaby, B.C. located at 4500 Kingsway #2137. We tried the traditional steamed Chinese Rice Rolls. They tasted exactly like the Chinese Rice Rolls that we enjoyed eating in Hoiping, China. Hoiping is known as Kaiping in Mandarin. We also tried the deliciousChinese roast duck and soy sauce chicken at a Chinese BBQ outlet in the Crystal Mall Food Court. As well, we sampled the Chinese Lamb Burger known as "Roujiamou". Some people believe roujiamou was the World's first hamburger invented in China over 2,000 years ago. I hadn't eaten this lamb burger since I last visited Xi'an over 10 years ago. That's why it was extra delicious for me to eat this lamb burger again. Finally, we tried the cold milk tea and cold lemon tea from the Paradise Juice outlet in the Crystal Mall Food Court. We found the prices a lot cheaper than other outlets, but the quality of their drinks were very high in quality.
In the second half of the video, you'll see how they make Chinese steamed rice rolls 猪肠粉as a street food in Hoiping, China. At the end of the video, my mom and I demonstrate making steamed rice rolls at home. Recipe is below:

Chinese Steamed Rice Noodle Rolls 猪肠粉
1 cup rice flour
2 tablespoons tapioca starch
1 cup or more water
1/2 to 3/4 cup bbq pork (chopped)
1/2 cup green onions (chopped)
2 tablespoons or more cooking oil
In a large bowl add water and rice flour. Mix well with chopsticks or fork. Chop bbq pork and chop green onions and put into the bowl with other ingredients. Grease pie pan with cooking oil. Have 2 or 3 pie pans to make cooking easier.
In a large pan, add water and bring to a boil. Put pie pan in the pan. Add a ladle or about 1/2 a cup of ingredient into the pie pan. Cover with a lid and steam between 1 to 2 minutes. The rice rolls are cooked when the surface bubbles. Remove from pan and let cool. Roll rice roll with fork or fingers. Repeat again for more rolls. This recipe makes 6 to 8 rice rolls. Serve with your favourite sauce. Enjoy!
