The Parliamentary ad-hoc committee investigating the oil sector, threw out Governor of Bank of Uganda Tumusiime Mutebile for the second time in a week, this time for refusing to divulge details of a Presidential Instrument that directed him to draw over 1.4 trillion shillings to procure fighter jets. MPs on the committee tasked the Governor to produce minutes of the meeting with President Museveni, but Mutebile insisted, saying there were no written record and that he just had a chat with the president.
