Sony XQD VS Lexar Compact Flash VS Sandisk SD Cards VS Samsung Micro SD Card

Why perform a test when I know who the clear cut winner is going to be? Well not that I have any doubt the XQD is king of speed but I was curious in finding out how much faster or in this case how much slower the Compact Flash and SD mini SD cards are versus the XQDs. So I said you know what. Lets make a video. :)

The cards I will be using

Sony 64GB G Series XQD Memory Card
Sony 64GB S Series XQD Memory Card
Lexar 32GB Professional 1066x CompactFlash Memory Card (UDMA 7)
SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC Memory Card
Samsung 128GB EVO Plus UHS-I microSDXC Memory Card

I will also do a camera buffer test between the XQD cards and the CF card. Camera used for buffer test
Nikon D4

All but one test were what I predicted. What was the test that surprised the heck out of me? Watch the video to find out.

I will also give you my thoughts and review of each of these cards and why I think download speeds are key for a working professional. Also why XQD cards although a but pricey are the real deal and worth every penny.
