"Gender Based Violence is perpetrated by people like all of us here, the men in uniform, the women in uniform and those in civilian clothes, it's not somebody that comes from another planet and commits the crime, it's somebody and people amongst us”.
These were the remarks of a GBV perpetrator, serving a 35 year prison term, at the launch of “16 Days of Activism against GBV".
