A few tapes and CDs were all that remained as physical proof that the Local Portal even existed, and most of those relics have been lost to time on the dusty shelves and within forgotten totes of the Old Collectors. Certainly some digital files still inhabit the dark corners of whirring hard drives or among the data stored on lost SD cards where they remain caged in their magnetic prisons."
