Our lovely Betta fish gets a new home as the old one was just not big enough.
The new home is a new Aqua One Lifestyle 29 fish tank.
It has been planted nicely and the Betta fish is now happily inhabiting it as seen in this video.
We intend to introduce some neon tetras also shown in this channel but would rather reduce the load on the filter in the new tank at this moment in time.
We are using an existing filter from the Betta's previous tank and have also re-used the sand from the previous tank.
However, we have used Fluval Cycle which is a Bio enhancer to introduce beneficial bacteria artificially.
I intend to test water regularly and use Secham Prime if any Amonia/Nitrite levels are detected.
The old filter will be removed in a few weeks once the tank has fully cycled and the new filter has enough bio media in it to take care of the Betta on it's own.
