it's no secret how much I love and adore lechon! They say that the way you can tell if a roast pig is good or not, is when it is tasted and judged by a Cebuano. hehehe
Anthony Bourdain may think that Zubuchon has the best lechon ever, but I seriously beg to differ.
The best lechon in Cebu (or in the Philippines, or even the world maybe) is appropriately found in a public lechon marketplace in the small town of Carcar, just an hour's drive from the city of Cebu. I kid you not, the folks in Carcar really know how to roast their pig, and up to this day, many Cebuanos make the drive to Carcar just to eat lechon (and chicharon)!
