A Kolkata College goes in strong, as they asked incoming students to sign an affidavit for pledging to ‘not wear torn jeans’ on campus. They have issued this in respect to not wearing any ‘indecent’ clothes on campus and dressed more civil, a similar order was issued last year as well. Students have stood up against this issue and have said that it goes against their ‘expression of freedom’ to which the college has defended their move by justifying it. The affidavit also mentions that the students will wear ‘normal’ clothes to college.
