As Israeli troops prepare to enter Gaza, the Israel-Hamas war is set to enter an even deadlier phase. FRANCE 24's senior reporter Catherine Norris Trent reporting from Tel Aviv, Israel, says that the Israeli army have been finding further Hamas tunnels close to civilian infrastructure like schools and homes. This sets the stage for protracted urban warfare in an area which still has hundreds of thousands of civilians trapped there. Norris Trent also talks about the tense, "explosive" atmosphere in the West Bank since the October 7 attacks.
