How to unplug your Chevy Volt. I use 110 GFI outlet but I found that you should not leave the electricity on and flowing to your portable charger. I melted two of them with was pretty scary. So I have a dedicated fuse and only one outlet just for the Volt I turn off the power at the breaker box to the outlet when I'm not charging the car. Do this and it will save you from burning down your house.
