Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're gonna take a look at the Inno Tire Hold Single Bike Rack here at you etrailer. So there's different types of people that would be interested in this kind of a bike rack. So let's say you're an urban rider who just needs the space for a single bike, or if you have a heavier electric bike and you need that extra weight capacity, or if you just like to go on long road trips, you're sporty, you're an adventurer, you wanna save time, you like the convenience of this tire hold. Those are all reasons you might wanna take a look at this video just to see if this is the right fit for you.
So my top two favorite things about this bike rack are the ratcheting arms on each side, as well as its weight capacity. So other bike racks like the Thule Helium or the Saris MTR that have these ratcheting arms, usually don't have as much weight capacity. Also your single bike racks do not have the convenience of these arms, so let's take a look at that. These arms hold your bike in by the front and the rear wheel, which means that this works with his variety of bicycles. So here I have my women's bike.
You can see how it has that women's frame where if you do have the traditional hook that comes down, it usually doesn't fit. And I would have to get frame adapter bar. But also if you have carbon-frame bikes where you're worried about warping or cracking your frame, or again, alternate frame bikes, your step-through bikes, your children's bikes, this style is very convenient. Taking a look at how it holds onto the wheel here. I'm trying to shake that wheel and you can see how it doesn't really have any movement within that ratcheting arm.
Yes, there is movement of the bike, but that's just natural road movement and nothing extra from an improper fit. This does have a weight capacity of 60 pounds per bike. So if you do have your heavier your electric bikes, this is actually a really good fit with my women's bike here. It's actually kind of on the heavier side. So I've had a hard time fitting this on our other bike racks that have a lower weight capacity, usually around 35 pounds per bike.
With this I don't have to worry about that at all. And when you're on the road and you wanna access your hatch, your trunk, lower your tailgate, what you can do is you don't need to take the bikes off. You can just tilt the bike rack itself away. To do so there is this knob right over here, and it has a handle on the inside. So pull that handle and then you can see that red indicator pops out, which shows you're ready to tilt this down. Now, that tilt-down feature doesn't have as much of an angle downwards compared to other bike racks I've seen. So your fit will depend on your vehicle as well as how your hatch, your tailgate, your trunk is designed. But here on our Ford Fiesta, you can see with it tilted down we have plenty of space between our door, our bike, as well as our handlebars, allowing us to open the hatch on our car right here, get into our trunk, grab whatever we need without having to take our bike off. To bring it back up all you need to do is lift up on the bike rack and it automatically snaps into place. And when you're ready to take the bike off, it's a very quick and easy three-step process. No levers, no straps you need to deal with. You just press this button and just hold onto your bike a little bit as you do so, 'cause this will allow you to push that arm out and do the same on the other side. With both of those arms released, you just lift up on your bike and you're ready to go. Don't forget to put those ratcheting arms back into place. That way everything is nice and neat. And with a bike off we can take a closer look at our bike rack itself. So this utilizes a tray design where instead of a fixed cradle, you have a whole tray you can slide your bike back and forth on to get the best fit. So within that tray, you have spaces or grooves for your tires, So the smallest tires can fit are your road bikes with those 18C tires and the widest tires these can fit are your three-inch tires. And here on top, we have these ratcheting arms. So one, they ratchet down to secure your wheel. But another thing they can do is that they can adjust for your different wheel sizes. So we have this piece that goes right into our arm. So just find a slot for it that can fit your bike and your wheel and just push it in to secure it. So with the adjustments that you can make on the tire hold itself, as well as how you can move your bike back and
