The First Slinky Spring Toy mint in it's original Box. The earliest Slinky Toys were made from French Steel Wire and were the finest quality. This is the rarest Original Classic Slinky, still mint in It's Original Portico Street Philadelphia Box. This Original First Slinky was Made in 1946 and was sold completely covered in Laquer so that it seemed like a solid tube. The owner had to crack open the Slinky toy from it's Fragile Laquer cocoon.
