One of the highlights of Japan’s year is as the country begins to turn pink with the petals of cherry blossom season marking the beginning of spring and new hope.

InsideJapan’s Insiders will be bringing a taste of the season from different locations across the country including Tokyo, Himeji, and Kamakura. The event aims to remind people of the beauty of blossom season as well as the history, culture and quirks behind it giving insight into the seasonal food, drink and Hanami ‘flower viewing’ party traditions. We hope that this will help to remind you as to why this season is so popular and start to build up excitement for 2023, when international visitors will be allowed to sample it for themselves.
