Six teenagers led Garfield Heights police on a six-minute chase through the city on Sunday afternoon, according to a Facebook post made by the department.

Authorities say the chase started after officers noticed the kids in a Kia they claim was reported stolen earlier that afternoon. The car became disabled during the chase, and the teens then tried to run away from police, per officials. The six kids involved were eventually caught and taken into custody.

The department says the kids are suspects in seven stolen car cases and three attempted car theft cases that happened over a short time period.
