As the World turns February 9, 1998. After shooting and killing Tegue, Ben works on trying to save a critically injured Jack who was stabbed by Teague. Hal and Margo arrive. Carly turns over the evidence to Hal. Carly is very distraught about Jack and Hal tries to comfort her as he is airlifted back to Oakdale. Holden has been found guilty but Lily gets new hope when she learns about the evidence that was found. A vigil forms at the hospital waiting for the arrival of Jack and it continues while he is in surgery in an attempt to save his life.
