Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) reached a critical milestone today by successfully flying the Tejas Mk1A aircraft, dubbed LA5033, from its Bengaluru base. The 18-minute sortie was led by Gp Capt K K Venugopal (Retd), HAL's Chief Test Pilot. The Tejas Mk1A boasts superior electronic radar, enhanced warfare capabilities, and easier maintenance than prior Tejas variants. With the Indian government's decision to purchase 83 Tejas aircraft, HAL plans to deliver the first three Mk1A fighters in 2024, followed by 16 each year thereafter.

Our AI Policy for Videos
We understand AI is here to stay and grow. We are letting our viewers know our policy for the same.
1) We do not let AI create the core content - The idea for the video and the story. AI is not yet accurate anyway, right?
2) We use AI Voice - We have tried real human voice before. But, AI voice allows a smooth flow, saves time with no multiple takes, and maintains consistency of delivery.
3) We use AI for certain tasks -
a) Converting units (say, one currency to another or thousands to millions, converting time zones, etc.)
b) Save time on searches. For example, it saves us time if we need to verify a fact and want AI to pull different sources.
c) In rare times, we would like AI to simplify a complex subject for our viewers.
d) Sometimes, we ask AI to arrange our data into a table.
e) Sometimes, generate an image that will help us to create covers or images that help explanations.
We do verify what AI does as it is not yet a perfect tool.
Our task for AI is to save our time for routine work.
Since we are a content creation organisation, we have generated our content even before AI existed in its current form. The practice continues.
AI will not be leading the content you see on our channel. We believe AI is only an aiding tool.
