Opposition parties have expressed support for Cope leader Mosiuoa Lekota's invitation to a round-table discussion on closer co-operation among them. Most parties have confirmed their attendance and the discussion is to take place in Cape Town later this week. But while opposition parties agree that the government and the ANC are in "crisis", many of them say an alliance is not on the cards because of their disparate political philosophies.
