UFC sells for $4 billion to WME-IMG
UFC owners Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta, along with president Dana White, have agreed to sell nearly their entire stakes in the mixed martial arts company to the WME-IMG group for $4 billion, according to CBS Las Vegas affiliate KLAS-TV, the New York Times and other reports. An announcement is expected as early as Monday.
The Fertittas, who own 80 percent of the business, and White, who has a nine percent stake, will all continue to hold small ownership percentages. White will also remain on as president and CEO, according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN.
