Governments use Air Quality Index to communicate to public how polluted air is in their environment. AQI mostly uses 5 pollutants Ozone, Nitrogen Dioxide, Sulphur Dioxide, PM2.5 (particles with an aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 μm) and PM10. In order to measure the air quality indoors I used NOVA SDS 011 sensor which measures particulate pollution, both PM2.5 and PM10.
