Aether spatial light field installation, made in collaboration with Architecture Social Club - creates a 3-dimensional lattice of audio reactive light. Aether began in 2016, with it's official premiere at New York Fashion Week and has since featured at Lumiere London, III Points Miami, Mutek Festival, Cultuurcentrum Hasselt and Attenborough Centre For Creative Arts in Brighton.

The installation plays on the old idea of the luminiferous aether, a canvas beneath reality upon which physics plays out. The idea was discredited by the Michelson -Morley experiment which measured the speed of light on different axes relative to earths motion finding no difference. So no underlying aether which we move relative to. But the idea stuck and it seemed a nice connection for the forms and human experience this installation creates.....a sort of otherworldly, space filling geometry we can get lost amongst.
