AUSVEG partnered with NextGen to offer commercial growers an introduction to developing retail negotiation skills in this webinar, which ran on 11 May 2023.
The webinar was presented by Neil Rechlin and provided a basic overview of how to approach and conduct a negotiation with a major customer.
The topics covered in the webinar are especially valuable for any individuals responsible for negotiating contracts or investments with major retailers, and attendees gained an appreciation that small suppliers can engage as equals with the major retailers (once they understand the role they play) and how to engage effectively in negotiations.
A further 2-day hands-on workshop, which ran on 22-23 June 2023, expanded on this topic.
