Replacing the derailleur and fitting tubeless ready tyres, Project trade up Polygon Siskiu D5
So I’m finally getting round to replacing the broken derailleur, well I say broken I hit it on a log about a month ago snapped the lower jockey wheel in half twisted the cage but it still worked.
Just goes to show that the lower end kit can take a beating and still live to tell the tail.
I have a pair of brand new Maxxis Minion DHF tan walls that’s correct I’m putting a front on the rear (purely for aesthetics) and I’m unsure how it will perform on the rear.
I’m going to be replacing that rear derailleur with a Used Deor XT model I had in my box of bits, untill I order a direct original replacement.
