This video shows the impact of NASA's DART Mission Rocket impact on Asteroid from from ground observatory and Italy's LICIACube satellite.
Double Asteroid Redirection Test was a NASA space mission aimed at testing a method of planetary defense against near-Earth objects. It was designed to assess how much a spacecraft impact deflects an asteroid through a transfer of momentum. The asteroid selected for the test poses no actual threat to Earth. It struck the target on Sep 26, 2022.
