Efforts to ensure smooth passage of the Food Security Bill in the current session of Parliament tops the government's priority list. On the first day of the monsoon session on Monday, the government clearly expressed its seriousness to get the bill passed and ensured that as far as suggestions of the opposition are concerned, they will be considered by Parliament.
