China and the U.S. are set to begin a new round of trade talks. Negotiations are scheduled for Thursday in Washington DC. Beijing has confirmed its vice premier and chief trade negotiator Liu He will lead the delegation. The White House says both sides will continue discussions on intellectual property rights, non-tariff barriers and agriculture. The talks come one week before the U.S. plans to impose a 30 percent tariff increase on Chinese products. Trump says the measures will take effect if no progress is made over the next few days.
