Today I wanted to merge my knowledge of photography and digital manipulation with my life as an influencer and show you just how easy it is for us influencers to cheat our way to perfect skin and perfect proportions. With over use of factetune, tiktok filter and awful instagram editing, and photoshop fails, today I share how and why its done and what tools and programmes influencers use to lie their way to perfect skin and proportions.
You may not know but my education and my degree is actually in Editorial and Advertising photography, where, amongst other stuff, we learnt a lot about digital retouching, especially when it comes to the beauty and fashion industry. So I have a keen eye for…..lies in photographs and more recently video.
And whilst the purpose of this video and potential series isn’t to name and shame or call people out, I do feel as influencers, we have a responsibility to be 100% honest when it comes to products we are promoting or a lifestyle we are promoting. Especially when we are trying to show the results of a product. But some people just lie there way to a pay day…So…i’ll be honest for these people :)
These videos are also just to show you what is possible to do as far as digital retouching and manipulation goes, and show you just how easy it is to make it look real!

Remember that skincare is extremely personal to everybody's skin. What works for me, may not work for you. But I hope my videos give you some good ideas for products, techniques and Ingredients to try.
Also, i'm obviously not a dermatologist or a doctor, so all opinions on products and anything else i'm presenting, is results and findings from my own experience and research.
And that's why i'm here, to share my research and my findings that go further than what is said on the bottle or google!
