The film-documentary is divided in three chapters and it is based on the three books “Il Vetro a Lume” written by Cesare Toffolo and Sandro Zecchin.
It is a journey between past and present of glass lampworking, exploring different techniques and their evolution; a journey built on interviews, stories, images and curiosities.
Every chapter focuses on a specific trip through different countries connected by artistic and technical influences throughout their histories: these countries have been chosen because those are key locations that have to be considered to fully understand all aspects of glass lampworking evolution.
