파키스탄 홍수로 17명 추가 사망... 유니세프, 기부금 모집 재개
UNICEF officials on Wednesday have called for more funding to help the vulnerable amid Pakistan's prolonged flooding.
This comes as Pakistani medical workers battle against outbreaks of waterborne diseases in Sindh province,... the region most affected by the disaster.
UNICEF said it needs up to 39 million-U.S.-dollars of aid to help those affected.
But so far only a third has been gathered.
The flooding in Pakistan has led to the deaths of 550 children and displaced 3.4 million children.
17 more people, including 9 children have died over the last two days.
So far, 1-thousand-576 people have died in and 33 million have been impacted by the disaster.
