Indexing SQL Databases to be efficient is a bit of an art. In this video I'll explain why I have come to the conclusion that the following rules are the best way to create an effective database:
1. Use the BigInt as the Primary Key
2. Order Fields to Ease Indexing
3. Limit to 6-8 Indexes
4. Avoid Single Field Indexes (Exception Discussed).
