Capacity-building Knowledge to Action Days are full-day workshops - co-designed to identify climate-related capacity gaps and needs and potential solutions and to foster collaboration among actors at the local, national, and international levels.

They bring together a diverse array of stakeholders – national and local governments, universities, and research organizations - to discuss knowledge and institutional barriers, research gaps, and other capacity-building gaps and needs that may weaken the science-policy interface at the national and regional levels.

Through the exchange of sub-national and national-level experiences and knowledge, Capacity-building Knowledge to Action Days strengthen the engagement of universities and research institutions in building capacity for the preparation and implementation of national adaptation plans #NAPs and nationally determined contributions #NDCs.

The first two events took place during the Latin American and Caribbean Climate Week (August 2019) #ClimateWeekLAC and the Asia-Pacific Climate Week (September 2019) #ClimateWeekAP.
