The ALPHV/BlackCat ransomware gang claims to have stolen more than 150 GB from the European gas pipeline Creos Luxembourg S.A. Stolen data consists of 180.000 files including contracts, agreements, passports, bills, and emails.
Creos Luxembourg S.A. has a revenue of EUR 290 million and over 800 employees. It owns and manages electricity networks and natural gas pipelines in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The announcement notes from Encevo, which owns the majority of Creos, say that the incident did not impact the supply of electricity and gas and that the breakdown service is guaranteed. In the meantime, the case is being investigated and the updates are published on the victim’s website.
