How to skip the line for free when you arrive back in the US:

This is a great option for families who might not yet have Global Entry for everyone! This is mainly available to US citizens.

[SAVE THIS POST because you’ll probably be looking for it later.]

1. Download the Mobile Passport Control App
2. Enter in traveler details (you can do this in advance)
3. When your plane lands in the US, click submit.
4. Look for signs for the “Mobile Passport Control” line
5. Enjoy your speedy exit!

Updated to Add: Mobile Passport lines are not available at every airport. Even airports listed as active on the CBP website might not have Mobile Passport lines currently. Recent traveler reports say this is no longer available at EWR and ORD.
