Hearing loss happens a lot in children with Down Syndrome because they often have narrow ear canals or fluid in the ear.
So Jayceon will have an annual hearing test suitable to his level of development, along with the rest of the children with “Up Syndrome”. Jayceon is beating all the odds. He’s healthy and strong….
FYI: Other serious potential complications include heart defects, blood disorders that can include leukemia (cancer of the blood), and immune system problems. About half of all babies with Down syndrome are born with heart defects, which are often repairable.
Aside from having the most traumatic birthing experience with Jayceon who arrived via emergency C-section, barley breathing…… He shows no signs of any complications, any “major” complications. Sure! He may have some developmental delays.....parents will have to take extra steps to help with reaching their milestones and sometimes it may not be easy but One thing a provider gone do though, is provide. A Motherrrr or Father.... we going to do whats needed for our babies.
I love this little boy, y'all. I don't even have the words to expeess the joy he brings me. I thank God for our blessing, our miracle baby..... Mommy's Rainbow baby 🌈
