News report about the train collision incident at Joo Koon MRT station causing the injury of 25 commuters and two SMRT staff workers.. A driver and a station manager.

This incident was the first case of train collision accident in 24 years.. Just like on 5 August 1993 when two MRT trains collided at Clementi MRT station that injured 156 passengers.

P. S. Because of that incident train services on the westernmost stretch from Boon Lay to Tuas Link were suspended on both directions and westbound trains would terminate at Boon Lay station like in the past. The Tuas West extension won't be in operation u f n so as to carry out further investigation on what caused the collision. 🚄 🚉
