With 330 m², the Casa Bosque, as named by its designer, architect Pietro Terlizzi, stands out for the predominant presence of nature in its surroundings. Located in Holambra, in the interior of São Paulo, the residence was initially conceived as a summer retreat, but the enchantment of the owners went beyond expectations, as they chose it as the family's permanent residence. Originally designed for weekends, the main requirements received by the professional were to create an integrated gourmet area, proper sunlight, and lots of greenery.
The façade of the residence is composed of reinforced concrete with a special curvature that follows the dead-end street and extends to the pergola ending at the stone moledo garage wall. The single-story house has two intersecting volumes, and the side with the higher ceiling height houses the fully integrated social areas: dining room, games, home theater, and kitchen.
With the privilege of offering not only a complete structure but also the landscape of the leisure area, the kitchen has evolved from a space with a conventional structure to provide the joy of preparing recipes with plenty of space and lightness. For quick daily meals, the countertop area (light gray quartz) meets the residents' needs, and for special occasions, there is the dining table.
Regarding the architectural design, the layout of the rooms was significantly favored by the large openings that provide constant natural lighting and ventilation. The authenticity of the design is evident in the exposed garapeira wood beams that have emerged as unique elements with unparalleled charm. The insolation study carried out by the architect favored the entry of sunlight in the morning, while the interior was completely protected from the intensity that occurs in the afternoon.
In the private area of the house, the four bedrooms and suites have the same layout, and the bathrooms were enhanced with the installation of skylights to replace natural light that doesn't come from windows. Since the main highlight of the project is the integrated leisure area, architect Pietro Terlizzi ensured that all bedrooms had breathtaking views.
