If you guys are having connection issue I'd recommend ensuring the Portal is on a 5GHz Wi-Fi network, as it handles streaming much better than 2.4GHz.
Be sure to check you internet speed at Speedtest.net
Also, try positioning it closer to your router or using a wired Ethernet connection via an adapter if possible.
