For the 19th year Northampton town in England annual Festival of Lights celebrations are organised by the Indian Hindu Welfare Organisation with support from the Borough Council. The lantern procession features Festive Road's two pedal-powered puppets of Harminder the elephant and Shanti the giant bird also puppets of Hanumanji, Rama, Sita and Ganesh. Prince Ram is crowned after 14 years of exile and dignitaries take to the market stage to countdown to switching on the Diwali Lights. Saturday October 19th 2019.
