A Bangladesh court will hear the bail plea of Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das, arrested on sedition charges, today. His case has gained significant attention, particularly after delays in the hearing due to a lawyers' boycott. The hearing will be presided over by Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Saiful Islam, as confirmed by the Chattogram Metropolitan Police. Additionally, ISKCON Kolkata spokesperson Radharamn Das reported that Advocate Ramen Roy, who had defended Chinmoy Krishna Das, was brutally attacked and is now in critical condition in the ICU. Chinmoy Krishna Das, a member of the Bangladesh Sammilita Sanatani Jagran Jote, was arrested on November 27 at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
