The Built-In Bookcases are our biggest project of this #oneroomchallenge!
Somehow we’re already behind on our project schedule.
Our days have been long this last week as we’ve worked to complete the built-ins in a week. And I think we will make it! 👊🏻Saturday we worked from 8 am - 10:30 pm to get ourselves back on schedule.
👊🏻What’s the biggest project you pushed through to complete? We did it! We completed week 2 of the @Oneroomchallenge! 👊🏻 I’ll tell you, I wasn’t sure we’d complete these built-ins this week. But with a deadline, somehow we made it work.
And a special thanks to my sweet hubby Steve! 👊🏻 He jumped in and helped us all day Saturday and Monday night to finish up the final details.
So do you think we’re crazy?! 🤪
Sometimes I need a deadline to get my butt in gear and make things happen.
👉🏻What do you do to keep yourself motivated?
👉🏻Do deadlines work for you, or do they just stress you out?

But before you get started, there are a few things you need to know.
In the video tutorial, we’ll provide tips on how to choose the right router bits and how to create the perfect rabbet joint.
We'll share our struggles and how we overcame them. We couldn't be more happy with the way the shaker cabinet door look on our moody home office built-ins.
This project is perfect for DIYers who want to add a touch of personality to their homes without spending a lot of money.
