Broken wrists or distal #radiusfracture are relatively, accounting for 25-50% of all broken bones and most commonly seen in older females and young males. A #brokenwrist is typically set and placed in a cast for the bones to healed. Distal radius fractures can be treated without surgery if the bone fragments are minimally displaced and remain in close connection.
