From a distance it looks like an ordinary maizefield, but if you come closer you see an abundance of different crops growing in different stratas and that will succeed each other in time and space. Only a month ago this system was implemented during a Permaculture and Syntropic Agroforestry Course for beginners organized by Refarmers East Africa under leadership of Patrick Paul Kidega and teachers as Wanjohi Wa Maina, Steve Stc, Kenneth Omondi, Dee J Essy and Ola Tom, under guidance of Roland van Reenen for Agroforestry Regeneration Communities and Abundant Earth Foundation.
