Canada’s biggest gold producer Agnico Eagle Mines is just scratching the surface when it comes to gold production in Quebec. The company fully owns two mines in Quebec’s northwester Abitibi region and operates Malartic Mine in joint ownership with Yamana Gold Inc.
Olivier Grondin, exploration manager for Agnico’s Canadian operations talked with Kitco News at the Xplor mining conference to talk about Quebec’s mineral potential. “Quebec it's geological potential is one of the best in the world when you're looking at a goal mineralization,” he said.
