So it’s pretty decent on the road aside from the engine noise, but on road is not where Ford wants you to drive this thing so let’s head to the forest to meet up with Paolo

Ok so the interior isn’t exactly what you’d call inspiring, but it conveys a sense of durability so let’s see if it gets any more inspiring as Paolo hits the trails

Sure it’s unibody, but they made an attempt to be offroady
Badlands trim is one inch higher than other trims

Instead of using a transfer case to send symmetrical power it goes through a center diff
FWD biased and then there’s a twin clutch rear axle that “locks”
Air quotes cuz it locks in the same way the 4runner limiteds do - with brakes, not true lock
Traction is still good, suspension travel still ok
Approach - 30.4 degrees
Departure - 33.1 degrees
Breakover - 20.4 degrees
Ground clearance 8.8 inches which is an inch more than the lower trims
Trail control is crawl control - offroad cruise control
Cameras front and rear so it is reasonably capable, but it wears a bronco badge and that implies something so let’s talk about that in final thoughts
