Update on a couple of the babies born while their mums were in care.
Souvlaki is a big kid now and is perfectly hanging out beside her mum Pitta. Pitta has bilateral thumb deformities - she doesn't have more than 1cm stubs with no claws. We're not sure if this was from a birth deformity or from an injury. She came into care after being found on the ground with what looked like netting injuries.
Souvlaki was born while mum was in care; she is about 8 weeks old now.

Whiffle (Mimsy's baby) is a distinctively pretty silvery colour and is just hanging out like she's a big kid. She's around 7-8 weeks old so she really is becoming a big kid.
Mimsy was found on the ground in the university, pregnant, stressed and being attacked by birds. A sensible security guard protected her by putting a box over her till rescue arrived.

The babies will stay with their mums till they're independently flying and able to be released with their mums.
