Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman paid respects to Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar in Panaji on Monday.
The last rites of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will be performed at Miramar on Monday evening. Parrikar, 63, died at his private residence at Dona Paula near Panaji on Sunday after a prolonged illness. Thousands of people thronged at BJP office in Panaji to pay last respect to Parrikar.
