Ugandan lawmakers on a fact finding mission in Malaysia have confirmed that Ugandan women are being trafficked to Malaysia and sold as sex slaves. Three Ugandan MPs who have just returned from Malaysia where prostitution as a business employs 600 Ugandan women with each allegedly earning over 400 US dollars per night, approximately 1 million shillings. The MPs also discovered that Nigerian men in connivance with yet to be identified Ugandan women are responsible for trafficking girls purportedly to study in Malaysian Universities but end up on the streets as prostitutes.
