During his address at the United Nations, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian stated that Hamas is prepared to release hostages, contingent upon the release of 6,000 Palestinians currently incarcerated in Israeli prisons. "As per our discussions, Hamas is willing to release civilian prisoners. Concurrently, the international community is urged to support the release of the 6,000 Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons," he conveyed during a meeting of the 193-member General Assembly focusing on the Middle East on Thursday.
