Very severe cyclonic storm called as #ClycloneYaas hits Eastern coast of India today on May 26. In Bengal, areas close to Digha, Tajpur and Mandarmani in East Midnapore and the coastal stretch of Odisha including Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur and Mayurbhanj are likely to be worst affected due to #Yaas
As india is still struggling to fight against the covid pandemic situation, black fungus was announced as epidemic by few states in India few days back. Last week India experienced cyclone Tauktae affecting thousands of lives in western part of country. Now, Cyclone Yaas further adds havoc in the eastern region of India.
Disaster management experts and Calenderologist are expressing concern that it may exacerbate the situation due to full moon and lunar eclipse on May 26.
