Pakistan has been on the edge since opposition parties submitted no-confidence motion before the National Assembly Secretariat on March 8. Pakistan's embattled Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday addressed a mammoth rally in the national capital where he claimed that foreign powers were involved in a 'conspiracy' to topple his coalition government.
The United States has however rejected the claims of involvement of 'foreign powers' to topple the Imran Khan government in Pakistan amid the political crisis in the country. "There is no truth to these allegations," a State Department spokesperson told India Today TV on Thursday.
Today, while addressing the nation Pakistan PM Imran Khan also raked up the issue, he said, "An official document sent to the government of Pakistan. They said if Imran Khan loses the vote of confidence, Pakistan will be forgiven. But if Imran Khan wins, then there would be difficult times ahead for Pakistan. This is an attempt to oust me, a foreign conspiracy against an elected prime minister."
In today special show of News Today with Rajdeep Sardesai panelists discuss Pakistan political turmoil.
